The Anti-Ligature Steel Access Panel is a specialized, fire-rated solution designed to mitigate self-harm risks in high-security, healthcare, and custodial environments while providing superior acoustic and smoke performance.
Safety & Performance Features:
• Application: Designed for high-security and high-risk environments such as hospitals, mental health facilities, police cells, and prisons, where vulnerable individuals may be present.• Acoustic Rating: Provides a high level of sound isolation, certified to 36dB acoustic reduction (UKAS tested).
• Smoke Compliance: Smoke Test Approved to BS EN 1634-3 standards.
• Construction: Fabricated from durable 0.9mm Zintec steel and compliant with Part B (Fire) and Part J (Combustion) Building Regulations.
Aesthetics & Security:
• Locking System: Secured with a restricted Key Operated Lock for authorised access only.• Finish: Standard finish is White (RAL 9016).
• Frame Options: Available with both Picture frame (sits over the aperture) and Beaded frame (plaster-in, concealed) options.
