Tested Performance & Compliance:
• Air Tightness: Independently tested and proven air-tight in both positive and negative air pressures at 50 Pa. Test certified to BS EN 1026:2000 and BS EN 12207:2000 for ceiling applications.• Thermal Regulation: Insulated to fully comply with Part L of the Building Regulations (Conservation of Fuel and Power), essential for maximising property efficiency.
Insulation & Design Specifications:
• Material: Robust steel loft trap construction with clean lines and a smooth white powder-coated finish, positioning it as a market-leading aesthetic solution.• Insulation Options: Variations offer tailored thermal performance: AT35 (60mm foam), AT25 (100mm foam), and AT15 (100mm PIR insulation), all bonded to the lid interior.
• Flush Aesthetic: The frame protrudes just 2mm from the finished ceiling, ensuring an exceptionally neat and flush installation.
Locking & Dimensions:
• Locking System: Standard operation via a twist lock with a tri-drive lock body (key supplied; pole available separately). An optional key lock is available (pole not compatible with this option).• Key Dimensions: Fits a standard ceiling opening of 642 x 562mm, providing a clear opening of 520 x 560mm (hinged on the short side).

Use these hatched on all my jobs. Well worth the money.

Hatch not yet installed. Looks good, but too soon to judge its thermal and airtightness properties. Comms are clear and instructions/information seem fine.

This is the second hatch I have purchased with the first being a custom hatch. This hatch is well made, accurate in size. They are good quality only disappointing part is postage to anywhere above central Scotland is excessive. Postage is prompt and arrived in a few days.

Product quality is excellent - far superior to the plastic alternatives available on the market. Airtight seals all round and insulated hatch should minimise heat loss. Not installed yet, but installation looks fairly straightforward. Delivery was next day as described . Very happy, thanks.

I bought a lockable hatch to finish off moving a loft opening in the refurb of my 1960s house . I think locking your loft is a great way if you are ever doing air BnB letting . The keys weren’t in the original package but a quick call and they arrived the next day . Great product and service

Very well made product and relatively easy to install. The insulation that gives the airtight seal may need some slight adjustment to make the hatch easier to open
