The BFFD is a certified Fire Rated Access Panel specifically designed to provide essential inspection access and regulatory compliance for gas flues.

Mandatory Compliance & Fire Integrity:
• Regulatory Standard: Fully designed in accordance with Part J of the Building Regulations and Gas Safe recommended specifications for flue inspection hatches.
• Fire Rating: Maintains the full fire rating integrity of the surrounding wall or ceiling, suitable for applications where robust fire protection is mandatory.
• Versatile Application: Suitable for any application requiring access to services (plumbing, electrical) while strictly maintaining compartmentation integrity.

Access & Locking Options:
• Standard Locking: Supplied as standard with a reliable twist-style lock, operated via a square-ended black plastic key, ensuring controlled maintenance access.
• Security Upgrade: Tamper Proof locks are available as an optional upgrade, providing enhanced security (note: please allow an extra day for delivery when specifying tamper-proof locks).
• Frame Options: Available with both a Picture Frame (PFFD) and a Beaded Frame (BFFD) to suit different installation finishes (wall or ceiling).
