The Fire Rated Electric Meter Overbox provides a critical safety solution, offering 1-Hour Fire Rating while concealing meters and ensuring easy, flexible access for inspections.
Safety & Compliance:
• Fire Rating: Certified with a 1-Hour Fire Rating tested to BS 476 Part 22 (One Way), providing essential protection around electrical components.• Airtightness: Fitted with a D section polyurethane seal to ensure the box is effectively draft sealed.
• Usage: Designed for indoor use only.
Design, Sizing & Access:
• Tested Size: The product is fire tested to a maximum internal size of 1100mm x 620mm.• Overall Dimensions: The overall size will be 200mm larger than the internal dimensions on both sides. The door depth is 25mm and is included in the overall depth.
• Reversible/Removable Door: Features a concealed spring pin hinge allowing the door to be easily removed during fitting and providing the flexibility to hinge on the right or left side without the need for tools.
• Locking Options: Door is secured by two quarter-turn locks. Options include the Budget lock (8mm square drive key) or a Tamper Proof lock insert for increased security. Both lock keys are supplied.
Finish & Manufacturing:
• Finish: Factory finished in White RAL 9016, eliminating the need for priming or painting.• Manufacturing:� Made to order in the UK.
