• Part L Compliant Choice (LT235): Achieves a U Value of 0.35 W/m²K, meeting the current regulatory requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations for new build properties.
Design, Function & Maintenance:
• Aesthetic Profile: Features a traditional, decorative frame with a flat lid, suitable for properties where a classic ceiling fixture is preferred.• Construction: Made from durable white injection moulded plastic, ensuring a seamless finish that requires no decorating or maintenance.
• Draught Resistance: The frame is fitted with compression seals that hold the lid firmly against the frame when closed, minimising heat loss.
• Operation: Easy to open and close with a simple turn of the catch.

The hatch is brilliant, excellent quality and was so easy to fit. I was replacing an old hatch and I was surprised how quick and easy it was. It probably took me all of about 5 minutes! Plus the new one looks much better than the old one. One point to note is that unlike my old hatch, this one doesn't have a removable hatch from the frame, which is very useful for easier access. A minor point though.

So far I think this is a pretty good hatch fitting. It is not yet installed properly because its width is exactly the same as the gap between rafters in our loft. I have bought 2 tools so far to widen the gap between the rafters and it still will not drop into place. There is a third tool one on its way - a rotating rasp to fit onto a power tool so that I can widen the gap a few more millimetres. All my problem though in having a co-incidence in widths! Delivery was prompt and the web site had all the information needed. So Jupiter Blue are the good guys in my saga!
