The SDS Fire Rated Eaves Access Door is a high-performance solution, purpose-built to facilitate access to eaves storage areas while maintaining superior fire, thermal, acoustic, and air-tight integrity.
Multi-Certified Performance Data:
• Fire Rating: Certified to provide 60 minutes of fire resistance (tested to B.S.476: Part 22:1987, face side only), essential for compartmentalising the eaves void.• Thermal & Part L Compliance: Achieves a highly efficient U-Value of 0.35 W/m²K, fully meeting the current requirements for lofts set out under Part L of UK Building Regulations.
• Acoustic Rating: Engineered to achieve a superb 36dB sound reduction, minimising noise transfer between the living space and the eaves void.
• Air Tightness: Air tested to previously unsurpassed levels, guaranteeing draught proofing and enhancing the property's overall energy efficiency.
