Just moved, had to get the best again, this is my 2nd jupiter blue loft hatch

Whilst the made to measure loft hatch looks very good I was disappointed that more information wasn't available on how to fit it. I was hoping to be able to detach the door from the frame in order to fit the frame by myself. Okay my fault for not checking but think it should have been clearer that this is a two man job. Currently it is in the garage whilst I look around for help.

Initial loft hatch damaged by courier. Replacement hatch dispatched same day without qusetion and received following day.

Turned up very quickly.

Requirement was for a non-standard custom sized, ‘invisible line’ insulated loft hatch. Followed the measuring guide on Jupiter Blue website and placed order. Loft hatch arrived approximately 10 days later. Initial impressions were that it was well packaged and protected against any damage during transit. Clearly a well manufactured and finished bespoke product. Installation was straightforward for a competent DIYer like myself. No issues so long as you ensure that the frame is level and square. You may also need to notch the plasterboard where the hinges protrude. I would have preferred some pre-drilled holes on the bottom edge of the frame to make it easier to secure to the joists rather than via the holes provided on the inner faces of the frame however that’s a very minor issue. A quality product and highly recommended. Will require additional access panels for my ongoing loft conversion and will have no hesitation in ordering from Jupiter Blue in the future.
