Nice loft hatch. Ordering a custom size is a bit confusing though as there's a lack of consistency in the instructions provided. The ordering page on the website says to deduct 5mm from the width when ordering, but the paperwork with the hatch says to deduct 5mm from both dimensions. Go with 5mm on both dimensions, if your roof hatch space is even slightly off square it'll be a pain to fit otherwise.. which mine was.

Companty was great and the loft hatch is pretty solid (AT35) but it lacks coutersunk holes so the clearance between the screw head and the door is extremely tight. Consequently, the hatch is a bit sticky and depending on how my house moves in the summer I am a little worried it will get stuck. Also, I think for old houses the lip is somewhat pointless as my ceiling is very much not flat! I think an option for one which had a recessed groove around the edge so you could plaster it in would be better

Custom made so it fitted like glove. Not cheap but it made it easy to fit.

First product arrived damaged, very quick to respond and send a new product no questions asked. As a custom item a little wait for replacement, but dead chuffed to get it in place and a perfect fit.

The hatch was easy to fit and looks good. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the plastic washers provided with the screws are too thick causing the screw head to stick out and interfere with the hinge. In addition, the screws are weak and I snapped the head off one. I used PZ 4x38 wood screws instead.
