Well made hatch for my bespoke size. A little heavy for me to fit on my own but a joiner managed on his own. Would be helpful if door could be separated from frame for fixing. 50mm facing worked for me to hide joint with ceiling and a few plastic wedges used to square the opening in the joists.

Bought this access panel as i wanted something that blends in neatly with the ceiling without any awkward projections or Architraves. The panel is extremely slim, stylish but is still very well insulated against draughts. I can highly recommend this access panel and importantly, its lockable from below the ceiling line.
