Good phone advice, great product. The loft hatch was a doddle to fit. The loft ladder was a bit more complicated but works well.

Very nicely made and will create a good loft opening. It's a shame that the hatch is not designed to be removed from it's frame as it would be much easier to fit the frame first to the ceiling aperture and then attach the hatch. My ceiling is 2.5m above floor level so the 'free' closing pole is too short for my wife to use easily. Would have willingly paid for one 15cm longer but will now have to source a 1m length of 12mm square tube to modify the pole supplied.
