Very pleased with Loft Hatch product. Fits very well based on the engineering to the dimensions provided. Loft opening pole, screws and instructions did not arrive with the product and had to make two phone calls to obtain all these items. These arrive eith the next day or emailed the same day. This didn't delay the installation nor detract from the excellent experience of the purchase or quality of the product. Coordination between despatch sites is suggested. I took on a large loft job which involved raising the loft floor, boarding, closing down a old loft hatch and making a frame in a new place for a new hatch, plastering etc etc. Then I measured up and ordered the with window jupiter blue loft hatch and prayed. Can I just say what a fantastic item it is. The precision is excellent and we can feel the difference with warmth already. The heat loss up the old wood frame and poor insulation must have been incredible. Can I just advise anyone ordering to knock the 5mm off like they suggest. If you pre make a square frame and you order dead size but then it turns out one of your corners of your frame is not exactly 90 degrees you will have issues with the lid catching that corner. I ordered dead size and had that issue but was able to adjust the corner to 90 degrees. If I'd knocked the 5mm off it wouldn't have been a issue. The outer frame needs fractional free play. Brilliant product which I would highly recommend to anyone.
